GoPro, manufacturer of the world’s most versatile camera, will once again be ever-present on board JCW Racing’s RaceSaver winged 305 sprint car as it takes to the track in just 39 days at Port Royal Speedway April 4.
“It’s great to have such a reputable company like GoPro support our team. Their cameras have allowed us to review a race from my perspective, and see things that are not obvious from behind the wheel or in the stands. It also has allowed us to better market ourselves towards our fans,” said team owner and driver Jake Waters.
Partnering with the team for the past few seasons, the company has re-signed and will continue to support JCW Racing in 2015. As action heats up on the track in central Pennsylvania, so will the views. Carrying GoPro’s Hero 3, the team will be able to showcase a view to fans from the drivers’ perspective, whether in hot laps, heat races, features, or rolling the No. 10 machine in to victory lane. In addition, Waters plans to use GoPro footage from events in the upcoming season to gain valued feedback to better understand performance in pursuit of excelling in the RaceSaver Pennsylvania Sprint Series (PASS).
Fans can expect to see excerpts of video from the team’s GoPro camera, showcasing action through JCW Racing’s website and Facebook page.
