Due to circumstances relating to engine failure during this past Saturday’s Heat 1 at Hesston Speedway, JCW Racing will be stepping away from the track for a few months to rebuild the motor. After starting the season in strong showing, though dealing with Mother Nature’s difficulties, JCW Racing sits in third place in Port Royal Speedway’s River Valley Builders 305 Sprint Division’s standings, and looked to restart in third place after a fast run from Port Royal Speedway’s April 30th show.
Team owner and driver Jake Waters is currently looking for a 305 team in need of someone to helm their sprint in hopes of continuing the hunt for Port Royal Speedway’s points championship. Currently, JCW Racing is looking at a two to three month window of return, but hopes sooner with the proper parts and quality rebuild of a new motor. Once the proper parts are received, the team will commence the rebuild. Additional updates regarding the team’s return will be provided in the near future.
JCW Racing would like to thank their sponsors, fans, family and friends for their continued support. The team hopes to rebound very soon!
